Photography, photos, cameras and water
I started scuba diving in the mid 90's, PADI OW and AOW at first. It was not until a few years later that the diving really picked up. Together with my brother I took a week off and went to the Red Sea. It was a great feeling, the warm water, the visibility, all the colours and the amazing life. Later that year I bought all the necessary equipment and started to dive in the murky waters of the Baltic Sea. At first it was a bit of a struggle as some of the equipment did not fit. After a sommer of adjustments, things started to run smoother. And that is when the wrecks of the Baltic Sea caught my interest. I became a wreck diver! This was still early in my diving career, and with the weather conditions in the Baltic I managed about 30 dives a year.
A course in Nitrox diving and later Advanced Nitrox with the aim of trimix was conducted. However, life took me to Norway, away from my wrecks and due to circumstances I put the diving on the shelf. In 2003 I started all over, mainly watching the marine life and with only a few dives a year, I slowly slided over to underwater photography. This site will mainly be about my underwater photography, but a photo or two from other occations will occour too. Please have a look at my gallery. If you feel like it, drop me a line. I hope you will enjoy the photos.
